Our Parish is on the move again.

We are swinging back to the left as there were two people on the pulpit side for every one on the lectern side this past Sunday. I am trying to figure out what this means, if anything, and will let you know more if I get an answer for this.

While I am following up on that let me do the same about the pear tree. A member of our Parish, who I will not name, made a remark about my stealing pears many years ago. These pears were as big as softballs and it was impossible to eat one without the juice running down your chin and the front of your shirt. My teachers and my mother knew what I was doing as they saw the front of my shirt. Maybe they did not say anything to me because they were better Bible students than the member of our Parish. I do not remember where it is in the Bible but I do remember something about the Lord saying to leave the fruit that falls to the ground for the less fortunate. I was less fortunate as we did not have a pear tree in our yard. Peach trees yes, but no pears. The peach trees are another story for another time. I am sure if you want to know where to find it Fr. Bill or Fr. Ben could tell you. It might be that if you were attending Fr. Ben’s Bible study on Wednesday you might already know where to find it.
