We have a special Bible class that meets every Wednesday of the year with the exception of August. It's called "The Gossip and Gospel" session. That's because everyone needs to catch up with what's happened with everyone else - we haven't been together since Sunday, you see. But once the Gossip Session is over we get right down to business. And of course we have quite a few questions, comments, discussion, and, let's face it, gossip, about Genesis, or Ecclesiastes, or the Gospel of Matthew. And everyone goes home richer in knowledge of one kind or another. May it please the Lord!

There's another class that meets on Sunday mornings during the Sunday School year. It's sometimes on the Bible and sometimes it's Bible-based. We don't "gossip" much at this one, but we do have some discussion, and folks seem to find it worthwhile. We've gone through the Acts of the Apostles, and we've studied the Reformation. We even spent one year looking at the history of Anti- Semitism., because one person asked the question, "Why are the Jews hated so much?"  It took about nine months to answer that one.
