I am saddened to report that the Reverend Canon Robert Kenwood Cooper, our former Curate and Priest of St. Matthias parish, passed away on Friday the 8th of February around 7:00pm in the evening. Fr. Cooper was a blessing and more to our parish during his tenure here. I don't think I will ever be able to forget the image of him walking into the parish hall in his black shirt, collar, black dress shoes, black socks, and shorts. He was (and still is) a man who commands a large presence. He will be missed.
